With a lifelong passion for baking, a love of beautiful desserts and on a complete leap, Ashley Estreen opened Simply Cake Couture.

 

Ashley’s passion for cake decorating and baking began when she was a little girl who loved to watch and help her grandma at the local bakery grocery store in Shell Lake, WI. Her grandma taught her endless cake decorating skills as well as how to make buttercream flowers.

 

Her passion for decorating continued to grow as she competed in cake decorating competitions every year since she was 8 in the Barron County 4-H program. The talent that Ashley showed through her cakes was noticed and complimented by many. She was even honored to make wedding cakes and other birthday cakes in her childhood years. Ashley went on to college and began using her Business Finance Degree working for Edward Jones until she was expecting her second child.

 

She then decided to stay home and raise her children where she began making cakes and goodies for family and friends. The cakes and dessert were a big hit. Word of mouth began to spread and she saw this as an opportunity to share her creations to the world.

 

Ashley had a big idea. In the fall of 2018, Simply Cake Couture was launched when she decided to share her work through social media. This was well received and Simply Cake Couture continued to grow at an exceeding rate. With the love and support of the community, in October 2019 Ashley decided to take a leap of faith and turn her childhood dream into a reality by opening her very own store front, Simply Cake Couture.

 

The mission for Simply Cake Couture will be to provide phenomenal customer service and using fresh, high-quality, real ingredients to create awe-inspiring cakes and desserts that taste as amazing as they look.
